HD Component Analog Video Selector with Digital Audio

The VS8HCA is an eight-input, HD-capable component analog video and digital audio selector. It is designed to integrate seamlessly into your existing home theater, dramatically expanding your video interconnection options.

Despite the promises of digital video, component analog video (CAV) is the highest quality video connection method widely available today. Even most digital TV receivers connect to their televisions via CAV. It is the only way to connect HD signals to most HDTVs and projectors, and the only way to get HD signals out of most devices.

While most HD and high-end displays, and some video receivers, have one or two CAV inputs, the VS8HCA allows you to integrate up to eight CAV sources (HDTV receiver, DVD player, PVR, satellite receiver, PlayStation 2, Xbox and more) to make the most of your home theater investment.

With support for both optical (Toslink) and coaxial digital audio switching, the VS8HCA greatly simplifies the management and utilization of all your video sources.

Please accept our sincere apologies. Due to factors beyond our control, and waning demand for analog HD video products, we are no longer manufacturing this product.

Existing customers are still able to get answers to questions and warranty service, if needed.

We have left the product information available on the website, and we may have a few units available. If you are interested, please send email to .

We’d like to make a small clarification to the Home Theater magazine article written about the VS8HCA. While we greatly appreciate the magazine’s initiative in mentioning our new product, it is important to note that the VS8HCA does not include a remote control. We feel that our customers already have too many remote controls to contend with, and as such, we provide the capability to program your universal remote directly from the front panel of the VS8HCA.

Latency: Zero apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the article, and we hope you continue to rely on Home Theater and other magazines for your audio and video information.
